This transformation inspired her to pursue a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Heritage Seminary, a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Care and Counselling, and certification through the ABC. In this episode, we hear from Jeemin Moon, Director of Biblical Care & Counselling Studies at Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario. In this episode, we are doing another rewind to our 2025 Conference on "Identity." This was our opening plenary session from pastor David Robinson called "A New Identity in Christ." Drawing on Paul's teaching in 2 Corinthians 5, David shares how the truth of our identity in Christ is central to biblical counselling ministry.

Ep. 17 - 2025 Conference Rewind on 'Identity' w/ Paul Tautges

In this episode, we are rewinding to our 2025 Conference on "Identity." During one of our plenary sessions, pastor Paul Tautges walked us through a talk called "Our Identity in the Process of Sanctification." Paul encourages Christians with the wonderful truth that our identity is firmly in Christ - an identity that is received and not achieved. When we rest in the finished work of Christ and our identity as "Saints", we can find hope through seasons of sin and suffering as we are being sanctified.

Ep. 11 - Brian Alton

In this episode, we hear from CBCC Board Member Brian Alton, who shares his personal journey of faith, his call to ministry, and how biblical counselling has been central to his work. Brian serves as a pastor at Church 21 Montreal and is also the Executive Director of the Biblical Living Center.
